                            1.1	A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to arts and cultural heritage; appropriating money to the Minnesota​
1.3 Humanities Center.​
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; MINNESOTA HUMANITIES CENTER.​
1.6 $2,500,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $2,500,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from​
1.7the arts and cultural heritage fund to the board of directors of the Minnesota Humanities​
1.8Center for statewide humanities programs and to support and expand outreach, partnerships,​
1.9and humanities programming with organizations and individuals throughout the state,​
1.10including programming related to the culture of Minnesota, veterans and the military​
1.11experience, professional development opportunities for educators, and programming​
1.12representing and reflecting Black, Indigenous, and people of color.​
