                            1.1	A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to workforce development; appropriating money for a grant to Aspirus​
1.3 Lake View Hospital for certified nursing assistant training.​
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; CERTIFIED NURSE ASSISTANT TRAINING.​
1.6 $42,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the workforce development fund to the​
1.7commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to Aspirus Lake View​
1.8Hospital, a nonprofit, to provide workforce training to create up to 12 new certified nursing​
1.9assistants for local employers. Grant money may be used for training and curriculum costs,​
1.10certification testing, and a retention bonus for trainees. This appropriation is available until​
1.11June 30, 2027.​
