| 5 | 5 | | 1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: |

| 6 | 6 | | 1.6 Section 1. ANOKA; RUM RIVER DAM. |

| 7 | 7 | | 1.7 Subdivision 1.Appropriation.$11,950,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | 1.8fund to the commissioner of natural resources for a grant to the city of Anoka for |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | 1.9improvements and betterments of a capital nature to the Rum River Dam in the city of |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 1.10Anoka. This appropriation includes money for operation and safety improvements; |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | 1.11improvements to facilitate hydroelectric power generation and river surfing; and modification |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | 1.12of the existing spillway into a lock or the incorporation of a fish passage if a lock is |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | 1.13determined to not be feasible. |

| 14 | 14 | | 1.14 Subd. 2.Bond sale.To provide the money appropriated in this section from the bond |
