6 | 6 | | 1.6 An amendment to the Minnesota Constitution is proposed to the people. If the amendment |

8 | 8 | | 1.8 Sec. 2. The term of office for the governor and lieutenant governor is four years and |

9 | 9 | | 1.9until a successor is chosen and qualified. Each shall have attained the age of 25 years and, |

10 | 10 | | 1.10shall have been a bona fide resident of the state for one year next preceding his election, |

11 | 11 | | 1.11and shall be a citizen of the United States. To limit overreaching power by any political |

12 | 12 | | 1.12party, a person must not be elected more than twice to the office of governor nor more than |

13 | 13 | | 1.13twice to the office of lieutenant governor. |
