1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; IMPROVE WATER QUALITY IN UPPER TWIN​
1.6LAKE.​
1.7 (a) $....... in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner​
1.8of the Pollution Control Agency for a grant to the Twin Lake Association for a two-year​
1.9water-quality improvement project at Upper Twin Lake in Hennepin County. The grant​
1.10must be used to contract for new and innovative nonchemical, flow-through, water-quality​
1.11improvement technologies and testing services; necessary infrastructure; selective invasive​
1.12weed control; carp control; training; and maintenance. This appropriation is available until​
1.13June 30, 2028.​
1.14 (b) $....... in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner​
1.15of natural resources for a grant to Twin Lake Association to address increased​
1.16weed-harvesting needs at Upper Twin Lake in Hennepin County.​
