44 1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
55 1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATIONS; MINNESOTA BOARD ON AGING.​
66 1.6 $1,995,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $2,071,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from​
77 1.7the general fund to the commissioner of human services for the Minnesota Board on Aging​
88 1.8under Minnesota Statutes, section 256.975, to add:​
99 1.9 (1) one full-time equivalent position to ensure compliance with federal regulations and​
1010 1.10assist with providing updates and technical assistance to the seven area agencies on aging​
1111 1.11and service providers;​
1212 1.12 (2) one full-time equivalent position to support compliance and policy development for​
1313 1.13services under the federal Older Americans Act;​
1414 1.14 (3) two full-time equivalent positions to better support increased service demands and​
1515 1.15operational needs of the Senior LinkAge Line; and​
1616 1.16 (4) 18 additional staff positions for the area agencies on aging contact centers to support​
1717 1.17Senior LinkAge Line operations.​
1818 1.18This appropriation is added to the base.​
