| 7 | 7 | | 1.7 Subd. 5.Monitoring Office of the Legislative Auditor audits.The commissioner must |

| 8 | 8 | | 1.8review audit reports from the Office of the Legislative Auditor and take appropriate steps |

| 9 | 9 | | 1.9to address internal control problems found in executive agencies. The commissioner must |

| 10 | 10 | | 1.10report annually by January 15 to the chairs and ranking minority members of the committees |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | 1.11in the senate with jurisdiction over finance and the house of representatives with jurisdiction |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | 1.12over ways and means with a detailed list of recommended actions made by the legislative |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | 1.13auditor. For each of those recommended actions: |

| 14 | 14 | | 1.14 (1) describe in detail the actions taken in accordance with the recommendation; |

| 15 | 15 | | 1.15 (2) assess the degree to which the recommended action is complete; |

| 16 | 16 | | 1.16 (3) explain why the recommended action has not been completed; |

| 17 | 17 | | 1.17 (4) describe the work required to complete the agency's response to the recommended |

| 18 | 18 | | 1.18action; and |

| 19 | 19 | | 1.19 (5) provide the timeline for completion of the agency's response to fully address the |
