1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; COLUMBUS; HORNSBY STREET NORTHEAST.
1.6 $762,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2026 from the general fund to the commissioner
1.7of transportation for a grant to the city of Columbus for improvements to Hornsby Street
1.8Northeast from marked Trunk Highway 97 to Eureka Avenue. Improvements include
1.9predesign; design; construction; replacement or repair and installation of stormwater
1.10improvements; street reconstruction, including improvements on roads adjacent to the project
1.11locations; and other improvements or upgrades related to street work. This appropriation is
1.12available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes, section
1.1316A.642.
