6 | 6 | | 1.6 The Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board must study the voluntary campaign |

7 | 7 | | 1.7spending limits as provided in this section. By January 15, 2026, the board must report to |

8 | 8 | | 1.8the chairs and ranking minority members of the legislative committees with jurisdiction |
---|
9 | 9 | | 1.9over the board with its findings and recommendations. At a minimum, the board must study |

11 | 11 | | 1.11 (1) the number of candidates that participate in the public subsidy program, broken down |
---|
12 | 12 | | 1.12by office; |

13 | 13 | | 1.13 (2) the number of candidates that do not participate in the public subsidy program, broken |

---|
15 | 15 | | 1.15 (3) historic trend data for the past ten years for the information in clauses (1) and (2); |

16 | 16 | | 1.16 (4) for candidates that do not participate in the public subsidy program, how much the |

17 | 17 | | 1.17candidate and the candidate's opponent spends and how much is spent on independent |
---|
18 | 18 | | 1.18expenditures in the race; |

19 | 19 | | 1.19 (5) how other states set voluntary campaign spending limits, including: |
