1.1 A bill for an act 1.2 relating to human services; exempting assisted living service providers from direct 1.3 care staff compensation requirements; amending Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 1.4 256B.4914, subdivision 10d. 1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 256B.4914, subdivision 10d, is amended to 1.7read: 1.8 Subd. 10d.Direct care staff; compensation.(a) A provider paid with rates determined 1.9under subdivision 6 must use a minimum of 66 percent of the revenue generated by rates 1.10determined under that subdivision for direct care staff compensation. 1.11 (b) A provider paid with rates determined under subdivision 7 must use a minimum of 1.1245 percent of the revenue generated by rates determined under that subdivision for direct 1.13care staff compensation. 1.14 (c) A provider paid with rates determined under subdivision 8 or 9 must use a minimum 1.15of 60 percent of the revenue generated by rates determined under those subdivisions for 1.16direct care staff compensation. 1.17 (d) Compensation under this subdivision includes: 1.18 (1) wages; 1.19 (2) taxes and workers' compensation; 1.20 (3) health insurance; 1.21 (4) dental insurance; 1Section 1. 25-03240 as introduced02/12/25 REVISOR AGW/AD SENATE STATE OF MINNESOTA S.F.
