1.1 A bill for an act 1.2 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for local roads and bridges; 1.3 authorizing the sale and issuance of general obligation bonds. 1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1.5 Section 1. LOCAL ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM. 1.6 $250,000,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds account in the state transportation 1.7fund, as provided in Minnesota Statutes, section 174.50, for: 1.8 (1) eligible improvements on trunk highway corridor projects under Minnesota Statutes, 1.9section 174.52, subdivision 2; 1.10 (2) construction and reconstruction of local roads with statewide or regional significance 1.11under Minnesota Statutes, section 174.52, subdivision 4; or 1.12 (3) grants to counties to assist in paying the costs of rural road safety capital improvement 1.13projects on county state-aid highways under Minnesota Statutes, section 174.52, subdivision 1.144a. 1.15 Sec. 2.
