                            1.1	A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to workforce development; appropriating money to Twin Cities R!SE for​
1.3 the Empowerment Institute.​
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. TWIN CITIES R!SE; APPROPRIATION.​
1.6 $500,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $500,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from the​
1.7workforce development fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development​
1.8for a grant to Twin Cities R!SE to increase the capacity of their Empowerment Institute​
1.9through personal empowerment training, employer partnerships, and implementation of the​
1.10youth personal empowerment curriculum throughout the state. This is a onetime appropriation​
1.11and funds are available until June 30, 2028.​
