1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 142B.25, is amended by adding a subdivision​
1.6to read:​
1.7 Subd. 4.Voluntarily closing a license.A license holder that voluntarily stops providing​
1.8child care services or does not renew the license issued under this chapter may choose not​
1.9to return the license to the commissioner.​
