| 6 | 6 | | 1.6 Section 1. [126C.127] GENERAL EDUCATION DISPARITY AID. |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | 1.7 (a) A school district's general education disparity aid allowance equals 0.37 times the |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | 1.8greater of: |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | 1.9 (1) zero; or |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 1.10 (2) the difference between: |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | 1.11 (i) the amount of adjusted general education revenue per adjusted pupil unit for the |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | 1.12district at or immediately below the 20th percentile of districts; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | 1.13 (ii) the amount of adjusted general education revenue per adjusted pupil unit for the |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | 1.14district. |

| 15 | 15 | | 1.15 (b) For fiscal year 2026 and later, a district's general education disparity aid equals its |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | 1.16general education disparity aid allowance times the adjusted pupil units. |

| 17 | 17 | | 1.17 (c) For the purposes of this section, "adjusted general education revenue" includes the |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | 1.18district's general education revenue under section 126C.10, subdivision 1, and referendum |

| 19 | 19 | | 1.19revenue under section 126C.17, subdivision 4. |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | 1.20 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective for revenue in fiscal year 2026 and later. |
