1.2 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for the Duluth Children's​
1.3 Museum.​
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; DULUTH CHILDREN'S MUSEUM.​
1.6 $1,700,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner​
1.7of employment and economic development for a grant to Duluth Children's Museum, a​
1.8501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, to design, construct, furnish, and equip capital​
1.9improvements for an expansion of the museum building in the city of Duluth. This​
1.10appropriation is available until the project is completed or abandoned subject to Minnesota​
1.11Statutes, section 16A.642. This is a onetime appropriation.​
1.12 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.​
