1.2 relating to natural resources; appropriating money for the lawns to legumes​
1.3 program.​
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. LAWNS TO LEGUMES; APPROPRIATION.​
1.6 $1,500,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the Board of​
1.7Water and Soil Resources for the lawns to legumes program under Minnesota Statutes,​
1.8section 103B.104. The board may enter into agreements with local governments, Metro​
1.9Blooms, and other organizations to support this effort. This is a onetime appropriation and​
1.10is available until June 30, 2029.​
