44 1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
55 1.5 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 144E.123, subdivision 3, is amended to read:​
66 1.6 Subd. 3.Review.Prehospital care data may be reviewed by the director or its designees.​
77 1.7The data shall be classified as private data on individuals under chapter 13, the Minnesota​
8-1.8Government Data Practices Act. The director may share with the Washington/Baltimore​
9-1.9High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area's Overdose Detection Mapping Application Program​
10-1.10(ODMAP) data that identifies where and when an overdose incident happens, fatality status,​
11-1.11suspected drug type, naloxone administration, and first responder type. ODMAP may:​
12-1.12 (1) allow secure access to the system by authorized users to report information about an​
13-1.13overdose incident;​
14-1.14 (2) allow secure access to the system by authorized users to view, in near real-time,​
15-1.15information about overdose incidents reported;​
16-1.16 (3) produce a map in near real-time of the approximate locations of confirmed or​
17-1.17suspected overdose incidents reported; and​
18-1.18 (4) enable access to overdose incident information that assists in state and local decisions​
19-1.19regarding the allocation of public health, public safety, and educational resources for the​
20-1.20purposes of monitoring and reporting data related to suspected overdoses.​
