| 5 | 5 | | 1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION FOR WORKFORCE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT . |

| 6 | 6 | | 1.6 Subdivision 1.Appropriation.$5,000,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the |

| 7 | 7 | | 1.7general fund to the commissioner of the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency for a grant to |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | 1.8the Center for African Immigrants and Refugees Organization (CAIRO) for the construction |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | 1.9of 70 units of workforce housing as part of the Iskufilan Village development in St. Cloud, |

| 10 | 10 | | 1.10Minnesota. The purpose of the project is to provide safe, modern, and affordable housing |

| 15 | 15 | | 1.15used only to construct residential housing in the Iskufilan Village. |

| 16 | 16 | | 1.16 (1) At least ten percent of the residential units must be reserved for affordable housing. |
