1.1 A bill for an act 1.2 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for improvements at the 1.3 Olmsted County materials recovery facility; authorizing the sale and issuance of 1.4 state bonds. 1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1.6 Section 1. OLMSTED COUNTY; FOOD SEPARATION SYSTEM. 1.7 Subdivision 1.Appropriation.$3,500,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds fund 1.8to the commissioner of the Pollution Control Agency for a grant to Olmsted County to 1.9design, construct, and equip a food waste separation system to prepare food waste for 1.10recycling purposes at an organic materials management facility. 1.11 Subd. 2.Bond sale.To provide the money appropriated in this section from the bond 1.12proceeds fund, the commissioner of management and budget shall sell and issue bonds of 1.13the state in an amount up to $3,500,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and with the effect 1.14prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota 1.15Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7. 1.16 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment. 1Section 1. 25-01591 as introduced12/20/24 REVISOR JSK/AD SENATE STATE OF MINNESOTA S.F.
