1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; AFRICAN CAREER EDUCATION AND​
1.6RESOURCE, INC.​
1.7 $250,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $250,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from the​
1.8arts and cultural heritage fund to the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Humanities Center​
1.9for grants to African Career Education and Resource, Inc. for programming; public education​
1.10classes, events, and forums; community outreach and engagement; and cultural events and​
1.11classes to teach the public about the historical, cultural, and folk arts heritage of African​
1.12Minnesotans.​
