55 1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
66 1.6 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; PROJECT REVIEW; TRUNK HIGHWAY 210.​
77 1.7 Subdivision 1.Appropriation.$5,400,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds​
88 1.8account in the trunk highway fund to the commissioner of transportation for environmental​
99 1.9analysis, predesign, design, right-of-way acquisition, and construction of safety and mobility​
1010 1.10improvements along marked Trunk Highway 210 between Aurdal Township and Nidaros​
1111 1.11Township in Otter Tail County, including consultant usage to support these activities and​
1212 1.12the cost of payments to landowners for lands acquired for highway rights-of-way. The​
1313 1.13commissioner may use up to 17 percent of this amount for project delivery.​
1414 1.14 Subd. 2.Project Review.Prior to expending funds from this appropriation for the project​
1515 1.15under subdivision 1, the commissioner must submit to the Otter Tail County Board of​
1616 1.16Commissioners a final layout and project report covering the purpose, route location, and​
1717 1.17proposed design of the project. The supporting data must include a good-faith cost estimate​
1818 1.18of all the costs in which Otter Tail County is expected to participate. Within 90 days of​
1919 1.19receiving the layout, report, and cost estimate, the board must approve or disapprove the​
2020 1.20proposed project in writing. If the board disapproves the final layout, the commissioner​
2121 1.21may make modifications requested by the county or decide not to proceed with the project.​
2222 1.22 Subd. 3.Bond sale.To provide the money appropriated in this section from the bond​
2323 1.23proceeds account in the trunk highway fund, the commissioner of management and budget​
