1.1 A bill for an act
1.2 relating to workforce development; appropriating money to the city of St. Paul for
1.3 the Right Track youth internship program.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; RIGHT TRACK YOUTH INTERNSHIPS.
1.6 $250,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $250,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from the
1.7workforce development fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development
1.8for a grant to the city of St. Paul to expand the city's Right Track youth internship program.
1.9The Right Track program connects young people from cost-burdened households to
1.10internships that develop work readiness skills and provide opportunities for mentorship and
1.11exploring career pathways. This is a onetime appropriation.
