                            1.1	A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to the legislature; modifying the definition of joint offices; amending​
1.3 Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 3.305, subdivision 1.​
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 3.305, subdivision 1, is amended to read:​
1.6 Subdivision 1.Definitions.(a) "Legislative commission" means a joint commission,​
1.7committee, or other entity in the legislative branch composed exclusively of members of​
1.8the senate and the house of representatives.​
1.9 (b) "Joint offices" means the Revisor of Statutes, Legislative Reference Library, the​
1.10Office of Legislative Auditor, the Legislative Budget Office, Legislative Coordinating​
1.11Commission, and any other joint legislative service office.​
