                            1.1	A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to workforce development; appropriating money for a grant to Rondo​
1.3 Community Land Trust for culinary training.​
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; WORKFORCE TRAINING PROGRAM.​
1.6 $1,500,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $1,500,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from​
1.7the workforce development fund to the commissioner of employment and economic​
1.8development for a grant to Rondo Community Land Trust, a nonprofit, to train local workers​
1.9in culinary skills. Grant proceeds may be used for purposes including but not limited to​
1.10capacity building, technical assistance, and culinary training. Of this amount, up to ten​
1.11percent may be used by Rondo Community Land Trust for administrative costs. This is a​
1.12onetime appropriation.​
