                            1.1	A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to transportation; establishing a speed limit on a segment of Beltrami​
1.3 County State-Aid Highway 20; amending Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 169.14,​
1.4 by adding a subdivision.​
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 169.14, is amended by adding a subdivision​
1.7to read:​
1.8 Subd. 5k.Beltrami County State-Aid Highway 20.Notwithstanding any provision to​
1.9the contrary in this section, the speed limit on Beltrami County State-Aid Highway 20 is​
1.1030 miles per hour from the intersection with Beltrami County State-Aid Highway 21 to the​
1.11entrance to Lake Bemidji State Park. The county engineer must erect appropriate signs​
1.12displaying the speed limit.​
1.13 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment. The​
1.14new speed limit is effective when the required signs are erected.​
