| 6 | 6 | | 1.6 Section 1. [415.20] MUNICIPAL IDS; LIMITATION. |

| 7 | 7 | | 1.7 Subdivision 1.Definitions.(a) For the purposes of this section, the following terms have |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | 1.8the meanings given. |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | 1.9 (b) "Municipal ID" means a photographic identification card in physical or electronic |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 1.10form created and provided by a municipality to a resident of the municipality that includes |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | 1.11the individual's name, date of birth, residential address, and any other identifying information |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | 1.12as required or authorized by the municipal ordinance. |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | 1.13 (c) "Municipality" means a statutory or home rule charter city. |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | 1.14 (d) "Resident" means a person who resides within the municipality's corporate boundaries |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | 1.15for a minimum of 30 continuous days immediately prior to application for a municipal ID |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | 1.16and who submits documentation demonstrating identity and residency as required in this |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | 1.17section. |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | 1.18 Subd. 2.Municipal ID; acceptance limited.Notwithstanding any law or rule to the |

| 19 | 19 | | 1.19contrary, a municipal ID does not qualify as proof of identification required for the receipt |

| 20 | 20 | | 1.20of one or more services provided by the state or through a federal program administered by |
