1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; FAMILY ASSETS FOR INDEPENDENCE
1.6ONGOING FUNDING.
1.7 $1,500,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $1,500,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from
1.8the general fund to the commissioner of children, youth, and families for the purposes of
1.9the Minnesota family assets for independence initiative under section 142F.20.
