1.1 A bill for an act
1.2 relating to human services; appropriating money to the commissioner of human
1.3 services for grants to navigator organizations.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; GRANTS TO NAVIGATORS.
1.6 $1,936,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the health care access fund to the
1.7commissioner of human services for grants to organizations with a MNsure grant services
1.8navigator assister contract in good standing as of the date of enactment. The grant payment
1.9to each organization must be in proportion to the number of medical assistance and
1.10MinnesotaCare enrollees each organization assisted that resulted in a successful enrollment
1.11in the second quarter of fiscal year 2025, as determined by MNsure's navigator payment
1.12process. This is a onetime appropriation and is available until June 30, 2027.
