1.6BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.7 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 16C.16, subdivision 2, is amended to read:​
1.8 Subd. 2.Small business.The commissioner shall adopt the size standards for "small​
1.9business" found in Code of Federal Regulations, title 49, section 26.65, a small business​
1.10for purposes of sections 16C.16 to 16C.21, 137.31, 137.35, 161.321, and 473.142, provided​
1.11that the business has its principal place of business in Minnesota. The commissioner may​
1.12use the definition for "small business" in the Code of Federal Regulations, title 49, section​
1.1326.65, or may adopt another standard.​
