                            1.1	A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to arts and cultural heritage; appropriating money for mental health services​
1.3 and outdoor activities for currently serving military personnel and veterans.​
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; HOMETOWN HERO OUTDOORS.​
1.6 $250,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $250,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from the​
1.7arts and cultural heritage fund to the commissioner of administration to provide a grant to​
1.8Hometown Hero Outdoors, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Stillwater, Minnesota,​
1.9to fund outdoor recreational activities and mental health services for currently serving​
1.10military personnel and veterans to promote positive mental health and interactions with​
1.11mental health service professionals; to promote longevity and quality of life through outdoor​
1.12activities and mental health services, including public education; and to ensure the​
1.13organization is able to continue supporting persons who are currently serving or have served​
1.14in the military.​
