1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.6 Section 1. Laws 2024, chapter 127, article 53, section 2, subdivision 13, is amended to​
1.7read:​

1.8Subd. 13.Grant Programs; Aging and Adult​
1.9Services Grants​
1.10(a) Caregiver Respite Services Grants.​
1.11$2,000,000 in fiscal year 2025 is for caregiver​
1.12respite services grants under Minnesota​
1.13Statutes, section 256.9756. This is a onetime​
1.14appropriation. Notwithstanding Minnesota​
1.15Statutes, section 16A.28, subdivision 3, this​
1.16appropriation is available until June 30, 2027.​
1.17(b) Caregiver Support Programs.​
1.18$2,500,000 in fiscal year 2025 is for the​
1.19Minnesota Board on Aging for the purposes​
1.20of the caregiver support programs under​
1.21Minnesota Statutes, section 256.9755.​
1.22Programs receiving funding under this​
1.23paragraph must include an ALS-specific​
