8 | 8 | 1.8 (1) is licensed in Minnesota by the Board of Medical Practice as a physician licensed to | |
9 | 9 | 1.9practice medicine in Minnesota who, doctor of osteopathic medicine, or physician assistant | |
10 | 10 | 1.10or is licensed in Minnesota by the Board of Nursing as an advanced practice registered nurse | |
11 | 11 | 1.11and is certified to practice as a clinical nurse specialist or nurse practitioner by a national | |
12 | 12 | 1.12nurse certification organization acceptable to the board; and | |
13 | 13 | 1.13 (2) is working under a written agreement with, employed by, or on contract with a | |
14 | 14 | 1.14community health board to provide advice and information, to authorize medical procedures | |
15 | 15 | 1.15through protocols, and to assist a community health board and its staff in coordinating their | |
16 | 16 | 1.16activities with local medical practitioners and health care institutions. | |
