44 1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
55 1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; CURLING FACILITY.​
66 1.6 $1,600,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner​
77 1.7of employment and economic development for a grant to Glacial Ridge Curling, a 501(c)(3)​
88 1.8nonprofit organization, to predesign, design, construct, furnish, and equip a new curling​
99 1.9facility in the city of Willmar. This appropriation is available after the commissioner of​
1010 1.10management and budget determines that an amount sufficient to complete the project has​
1111 1.11been committed to the project as required by Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.502. This​
1212 1.12appropriation is onetime and is available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject​
1313 1.13to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.​
1414 1.14 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.​
