1.2 relating to natural resources; appropriating money for all-terrain vehicle trails.
1.3BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.4 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; VOYAGEUR COUNTRY ATV TRAIL.
1.5 $380,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the all-terrain vehicle account in the
1.6natural resources fund to the commissioner of natural resources for a grant to St. Louis
1.7County for design, right-of-way acquisition, permitting, and construction of trails within
1.8the Voyageur Country ATV trail system. This is a onetime appropriation and is available
1.9until June 30, 2028.
1.10 Sec. 2. APPROPRIATION; PROSPECTORS LOOP TRAIL.
1.11 $175,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the all-terrain vehicle account in the
1.12natural resources fund to the commissioner of natural resources for a grant to St. Louis
1.13County for design, right-of-way acquisition, permitting, and construction of trails and a new
1.14trail bridge within the Prospectors Loop trail system. This is a onetime appropriation and
1.15is available until June 30, 2028.
