1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; FRENCH LAKE WATER-QUALITY​
1.6IMPROVEMENT .​
1.7 $....... in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of​
1.8the Pollution Control Agency for a grant to Rice County to address water-quality concerns​
1.9at French Lake. Rice County may use this grant to contract for water-quality improvement​
1.10services, testing, necessary infrastructure, training, and maintenance.​
1.11 Sec. 2. APPROPRIATION EXTENSION; FRENCH LAKE WATER-QUALITY​
1.12IMPROVEMENT GRANT.​
1.13 The availability of the grant to Rice County to address water-quality concerns at French​
1.14Lake under Laws 2023, chapter 60, article 1, section 2, subdivision 2, paragraph (m), is​
1.15extended to June 30, 2027.​
1.16 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.​
