Thisbillprohibitsanypoliticalsubdivisionfromrequiringa
residentialpropertyownertohaveahomeinspectionofsuch
propertyconductedregardingthesaleoftheproperty. Thisdoes
notapplytonewconstructioninspectionsoroccupancypermits.
Thebillspecifiesthatnodeedrestrictions,covenants,orsimilar
bindingagreementsrunningwiththelandcanprohibitorhavethe
effectofprohibitingthedisplayofsalesignsonthepropertyof
ahomeownerornearbystreetcorner.Ahomeowners'associationmay
adoptreasonablerulesregardingsalesignsandremoveasalesign
withoutliabilityasspecifiedinthebill.
Thebillprohibitsanycounty,municipality,orpolitical
subdivisionfromimposingorenforcingamoratoriumoneviction
proceedingsunlessspecificallyauthorizedbystatelaw.
