System(PEERS)ofMissouricanbeemployedinapositioncovered
underPEERSwithoutstoppingtheirretirementbenefit. Such
teachermayearnupto60%oftheminimumteacher'ssalaryasset
forthinSection163.172,RSMo,andwillnotcontributetothe
RetirementSystemorearncreditableservice.
Thisbillwillallowsuchteachertoearnupto60%oftheaverage
teachersalaryfortheprimarydistrictforwhichtheyteachduring
retirement.
