376.1575.Asusedinsections376.1575to376.1580,thefollowingtermsshallmean:

3thehealthcarrier'sauthorizationforthepractitionertoprovidepatientcareservicesasa
4memberofthehealthcarrier'snetworkanddoesnotomitanyinformationwhichisclearly
5requiredbytheapplicationformandtheaccompanyinginstructions;
6 (2)"Credentialing",ahealthcarrier'sprocessofassessingandvalidatingthe
7qualificationsofapractitionertoprovidepatientcareservicesandactasamemberofthe
8healthcarrier'sprovidernetwork;
