BeitenactedbytheGeneralAssemblyofthestateofMissouri,asfollows: SectionA.Chapter36,RSMo,isamendedbyaddingtheretoonenewsection,tobe 2knownassection36.520,toreadasfollows: 36.520.1.Thereisherebyestablishedthe"MissouriStateEmployeeWork- 2From-AnywhereTaskForce". 3 2.Thetaskforceshallbecomprisedofthefollowingmembers: 4 (1)Threemembersofthehouseofrepresentatives,withtwomemberstobe 5appointedbythespeakerofthehouseofrepresentativesandonemembertobe 6appointedbytheminorityfloorleaderofthehouseofrepresentatives; 7 (2)Threemembersofthesenate,withtwomemberstobeappointedbythe 8presidentprotemporeofthesenateandonemembertobeappointedbytheminority 9floorleaderofthesenate; 10 (3)Thecommissioneroftheofficeofadministration,orthecommissioner's 11designee; 12 (4)Fourmembers,appointedbythegovernor,includingthechiefinformation 13officerofthisstateandonememberoftheinformationtechnologyservicesdivisionof 14theofficeofadministration; 15 (5)Threemembers,appointedbythespeakerofthehouseofrepresentatives, 16whoserveassubject-matterexpertsinanysubjectrelatedtostategovernment,human 17resources,personnelmanagement,orlaborrelations; EXPLANATION—Matterenclosedinbold-facedbrackets[thus] intheabovebillisnotenactedandis intendedtobeomittedfromthelaw.Matterinbold-facetypeintheabovebillisproposedlanguage. 18 (6)Onememberwhorepresentsthedepartmentofeconomicdevelopment; 19 (7)Onememberwhorepresentsthedepartmentofhighereducationand 20workforcedevelopment;and 21 (8)Onemember,appointedbythespeakerofthehouseofrepresentatives,who 22representsaMissouri-basedtechnologyprovider. 23 3.Theofficeofadministrationshallprovidesuchtechnicalandadministrative 24supportasmayberequiredbythetaskforcetofulfillitsduties. 25 4.Membersofthetaskforceshallservewithoutcompensationbutshallreceive 26reimbursementforactualandnecessaryexpensesincurredinattendingmeetingsofthe 27taskforceoranysubcommitteethereof. 28 5.Thetaskforceshallholditsfirstmeetingwithintwomonthsaftertheeffective 29dateofthissectionandshallorganizebyselectingachairandavicechair. 30 6.Themissionofthetaskforceshallbetodeterminethebestpoliciesand 31practicesforallowingemployeesofthegovernmentofthisstatetoworkfromhomeor 32tootherwiseworkremotely.Thetaskforceshallconsiderthefeasibilityand 33practicabilityofvariousremote-workarrangementsforemployeesengagedinall 34typesofworkandinallregionsthroughoutthisstate. 35 7.Thetaskforceshallreportasummaryofitsactivitiesandany 36recommendationsforlegislationtothegeneralassemblybeforeAugust28,2023. 37 8.(1)ThetaskforceshallsuspenditsoperationsonJanuary1,2024.Atsuch 38time,allmembersofthetaskforceshallberelievedoftheirpositionsonthetaskforce. 39 (2)ThetaskforceshallresumeitsoperationsonJanuary1,2025,withanewset 40ofmemberstobeselectedaccordingtotheprovisionsofsubsection2ofthissection.The 41taskforceshallmeetwithintwomonthsofresumptionofitsoperationsandshall 42organizebyselectingachairandavicechair. 43 (3)Uponresumptionofitsoperations,thetaskforceshallreviewallsummaries 44andrecommendationspreviouslymadeundersubsection7ofthissectionandshall 45continuetocarryoutthemissiondescribedinsubsection6ofthissection. 46 (4)Uponresumptionofitsoperations,thetaskforceshallreportanupdated 47summaryofitsactivitiesandanyrecommendationsforlegislationtothegeneral 48assemblybeforeAugust28,2025. 49 (5)Afterprovidingareporttothegeneralassemblyasrequiredunder 50subdivision(4)ofthissubsection,thetaskforceshallcontinuetomeeteverytwoyears 51periodicallyuntilthissectionexpires.Thetaskforceshallprovideadditionalupdated 52summariesofitsactivitiesandadditionalrecommendationsforlegislationtothegeneral 53assembly,atsuchtimesasthetaskforcedeemsnecessary,untilthetaskforceis 54terminated. ✔ HB2327 2
