2knownassection311.028,toreadasfollows:
311.028.1.Toqualifyas"OzarkHighlands"spirits,andtobelabeledassuch
2forsaleinMissouri,aproductshallmeetthefollowingconditions:
3 (1)Theproductshallbemashed,fermented,distilled,aged,andbottledinthe
4OzarkHighlandsregion;
5 (2)TheproductshallbeagedinbarrelsmanufacturedfromMissouriwhiteoak
6growninorfromtheOzarkHighlands;
7 (3)Thewatersourceshallbenonmunicipalwateranduntreatedwithchemicals
8thatwouldharmthenaturallocalenvironmentalconditionssuchassoilandtopography
9andaffecttheendproduct;
10 (4)Theminimumageofwhiskeyshallbefouryears;and
11 (5)Unagedspirits,suchasginandvodka,shallmeettheconditionslistedin
12subdivisions(1)to(3)ofthissubsection.
13 2.Toadditionallyqualifyas"SingleMalt",thefinalproductshallbedistilled
14andbottledatasingledistillery.
15 3.Theproductshallbefurthercertified,bysealorothermeans,bythe"Ozark
16HighlandDistillersGuild"asaqualifying"OzarkHighlands"product.
