Thisbilldefines"sex"as,thetwomaincategoriesofmaleand
femaleintowhichindividualsaredividedbasedonanindividual's
reproductivebiologyatbirthandtheindividual'sgenome.
Thebillprohibitspublicschooldistrictsandinstitutionsof
highereducationfromallowinganindividualofthemalesexto
participateinasportdesignatedforthefemalesexasdetermined
bythestudent'sofficialbirthcertificate,orifunobtainable,
anothergovernmentrecord.
Thebillclarifiesthatbiologicalsexisonlycorrectlystatedon
birthcertificatesifitwasenteredatornearthetimeofbirth
ormodifiedtocorrectscrivener'serror.
Anypublicschooldistrictorinstitutionofhighereducationthat
violatesthisprohibitionwillbeineligibleforstateaidorother
revenuefromthestate.
