Torepealsection41.050,RSMo,andtoenactinlieuthereofonenewsectionrelatingto
organizedmilitiaagerequirements.
BeitenactedbytheGeneralAssemblyofthestateofMissouri,asfollows:
SectionA.Section41.050,RSMo,isrepealedandonenewsectionenactedinlieu
2thereof,tobeknownassection41.050,toreadasfollows:
41.050.Themilitiaofthestateshallincludeallable-bodiedcitizensandallother
2able-bodiedresidents,who,inthecaseoftheunorganizedmilitiaandtheMissouristate
3defenseforce,shallbemorethanseventeenyearsofageandnotmorethansixty-four,and
4suchotherpersonsasmayupontheirownapplicationbeenrolledorcommissionedtherein,
5andwho,inthecaseoftheorganizedmilitia,shallbewithintheagelimits, butnotlessthan
6twenty-oneyearsofage,andpossessthephysicalandmentalqualificationsprescribedby
7laworregulationsforthereservecomponentsoftheArmedForcesoftheUnitedStates,
8exceptthatthissectionshallnotbeconstruedtorequiremilitiaserviceofanypersons
9specificallyexemptedbythelawsoftheUnitedStatesorthestateofMissouri.The
10maximumagerequirementmaybewaivedbytheadjutantgeneralonacase-by-casebasis.
