PROPONENTS: Supporterssaythatthebillprovidesclarification andcleanuptoseveralprovisionsrelatingtotheretirement systems,MissouriStateEmployees’RetirementSystem(MOSERS)and theMissouriDepartmentofTransportation andPatrolEmployees’ RetirementSystem(MPERS). Mostofthesechangesareminor modificationsandclarifications oftheretirementplansthatare administrative innatureandclarifyoreliminateinconsistencies inthelaw.Thisisthe4thyearthebillhasbeensubmittedto thecommittee. Thereisaprovisionrelatingtotheamountof servicecredittothemembersoftheGeneralAssemblyorStatewide ElectedOfficialswhileonlongtermdisabilitywhichreflectsthe termlimits.AlsotheemployeecontributionfortheJudicialPlan issimilartothetreasuryratesoallmembersreceivethesame rate.
