Thisbillcreatestheoffenseoffailingtosuperviseachild,
whichisaninfractionandwhichcomeswithamaximumof250hours
ofcommunityservice. Apersoncommitstheoffenseoffailingto
superviseachildifthepersonistheparent,lawfulguardian,or
otherpersonlawfullychargedwiththecareorcustodyofachild
under15yearsofageandthechildcommitsoneoftheacts
specifiedinthebill.Thebillalsoprovidestwoaffirmative
defensesforapersonchargedwithcommittingtheoffense.
