SectionA.Chapter577,RSMo,isamendedbyaddingtheretoonenewsection,tobe
2knownassection577.022,toreadasfollows:
577.022.1.Apersoncommitstheoffenseofpossessionofanopencontainerof
2marijuanainamotorvehicleifthepersonpossessesanopencontainerofmarijuanain
3themotorvehiclethatisonapublicthoroughfare,includingstateroads;countyroads;
4andpublicstreets,avenues,boulevards,parkways,oralleys,oranypublichighway.
5 2.Theoffenseofpossessionofanopencontainerofmarijuanainamotorvehicle
6isaclassAmisdemeanor.
7 3.Asusedinthissection,thefollowingtermsmean:
8 (1)"Opencontainerofmarijuana",marijuana,oramarijuanaproduct,thatis
9notstoredinasecured,sealedorresealable,odor-proof,child-resistantpackage,
10container,orreceptacle;
11 (2)"Person",includesthedriveroranypassengerwithinthepassengerareaof
12themotorvehicle.
