99whoisinhisorherdwellingunitoruponpremisesoverwhichthepersonhas 100possession,authority,orcontrol;whoistravelinginacontinuousjourneypeaceably 101throughthisstate;orwhoiseighteenyearsofageorolderandamemberoftheUnited 102StatesArmedForcesorhonorablydischargedfromtheUnitedStatesArmedForces. 103 4.Subdivisions(1),(8),and(10)ofsubsection1ofthissectionshallnotapplytoany 104personwhohasavalidconcealedcarrypermitissuedpursuanttosections571.101to 105571.121,avalidconcealedcarryendorsementissuedbeforeAugust28,2013,oravalid 106permitorendorsementtocarryconcealedfirearmsissuedbyanotherstateorpolitical 107subdivisionofanotherstate. 108 5.Subdivisions(3),(4),(5),(6),(7),(8),(9),and(10)ofsubsection1ofthissection 109shallnotapplytopersonswhoareengagedinalawfulactofdefensepursuanttosection 110563.031. 111 6.Notwithstandinganyprovisionofthissectiontothecontrary,thestateshallnot 112prohibitanystateemployeefromhavingafirearmintheemployee'svehicleonthestate's 113propertyprovidedthatthevehicleislockedandthefirearmisnotvisible.Thissubsection 114shallonlyapplytothestateasanemployerwhenthestateemployee'svehicleisonproperty 115ownedorleasedbythestateandthestateemployeeisconductingactivitieswithinthescope 116ofhisorheremployment.Forthepurposesofthissubsection,"stateemployee"meansan 117employeeoftheexecutive,legislative,orjudicialbranchofthegovernmentofthestateof 118Missouri. 119 7.Nothinginthissectionshallmakeitunlawfulforastudenttoactuallyparticipatein 120school-sanctionedgunsafetycourses,studentmilitaryorROTCcourses,orotherschool- 121sponsoredorclub-sponsoredfirearm-relatedevents,providedthestudentdoesnotcarrya 122firearmorotherweaponreadilycapableoflethaluseintoanyschool,ontoanyschoolbus,or 123ontothepremisesofanyotherfunctionoractivitysponsoredorsanctionedbyschoolofficials 124orthedistrictschoolboard. 125 8.Apersonwhocommitsthecrimeofunlawfuluseofweaponsunder: HB459 4 126 (1)Subdivision(2),(3),(4),or(11)ofsubsection1ofthissectionshallbeguiltyofa 127classEfelony; 164 (3)Beforesuchretirement,wasregularlyemployedasapeaceofficerforan 165aggregateoffifteenyearsormore,orretiredfromservicewithsuchagency,aftercompleting 166anyapplicableprobationaryperiodofsuchservice,duetoaservice-connecteddisability,as 167determinedbysuchagency;
