4 (1)Carriesconcealeduponorabouthisorherpersonaknife,afirearm,ablackjack
5oranyotherweaponreadilycapableoflethaluseintoanyareawherefirearmsarerestricted

8 (3)Dischargesorshootsafirearmintoadwellinghouse,arailroadtrain,boat,

101 5.Subdivisions(3),(4),(5),(6),(7),(8),(9),and(10)ofsubsection1ofthissection
102shallnotapplytopersonswhoareengagedinalawfulactofdefensepursuanttosection

104 6.Notwithstandinganyprovisionofthissectiontothecontrary,thestateshallnot
105prohibitanystateemployeefromhavingafirearmintheemployee'svehicleonthestate's
106propertyprovidedthatthevehicleislockedandthefirearmisnotvisible.Thissubsection
107shallonlyapplytothestateasanemployerwhenthestateemployee'svehicleisonproperty
108ownedorleasedbythestateandthestateemployeeisconductingactivitieswithinthescope
109ofhisorheremployment.Forthepurposesofthissubsection,"stateemployee"meansan
110employeeoftheexecutive,legislative,orjudicialbranchofthegovernmentofthestateof

112 7.Nothinginthissectionshallmakeitunlawfulforastudenttoactuallyparticipatein
113school-sanctionedgunsafetycourses,studentmilitaryorROTCcourses,orotherschool-
114sponsoredorclub-sponsoredfirearm-relatedevents,providedthestudentdoesnotcarrya
115firearmorotherweaponreadilycapableoflethaluseintoanyschool,ontoanyschoolbus,or
116ontothepremisesofanyotherfunctionoractivitysponsoredorsanctionedbyschoolofficials
117orthedistrictschoolboard.
118 8.Apersonwhocommitsthecrimeofunlawfuluseofweaponsunder:
119 (1)Subdivision(2),(3),(4),or(11)ofsubsection1ofthissectionshallbeguiltyofa
120classEfelony;
121 (2)Subdivision(1),(6),(7),or(8)ofsubsection1ofthissectionshallbeguiltyofa
122classBmisdemeanor,exceptwhenaconcealedweaponiscarriedontoanyprivateproperty
123whoseownerhaspostedthepremisesasbeingoff-limitstoconcealedfirearmsbymeansof
124oneormoresignsdisplayedinaconspicuousplaceofaminimumsizeofeleveninchesby
125fourteenincheswiththewritingthereoninlettersofnotlessthanoneinch,inwhichcasethe

152 (1)Retiredingoodstandingfromservicewithapublicagencyasapeaceofficer,
153otherthanforreasonsofmentalinstability;
154 (2)Beforesuchretirement,wasauthorizedbylawtoengageinorsupervisethe
155prevention,detection,investigation,orprosecutionof,ortheincarcerationofanypersonfor,
156anyviolationoflaw,andhadstatutorypowersofarrest;
157 (3)Beforesuchretirement,wasregularlyemployedasapeaceofficerforan
158aggregateoffifteenyearsormore,orretiredfromservicewithsuchagency,aftercompleting
159anyapplicableprobationaryperiodofsuchservice,duetoaservice-connecteddisability,as
160determinedbysuchagency;
161 (4)Hasanonforfeitablerighttobenefitsundertheretirementplanoftheagencyif

571.107.1.Aconcealedcarrypermitissuedpursuanttosections571.101to571.121,
2avalidconcealedcarryendorsementissuedpriortoAugust28,2013,oraconcealedcarry
3endorsementorpermitissuedbyanotherstateorpoliticalsubdivisionofanotherstateshall
4authorizethepersoninwhosenamethepermitorendorsementisissuedtocarryconcealed
5firearmsonorabouthisorherpersonorvehiclethroughoutthestate.Noconcealedcarry
6permitissuedpursuanttosections571.101to571.121,validconcealedcarryendorsement
7issuedpriortoAugust28,2013,oraconcealedcarryendorsementorpermitissuedbyanother
8stateorpoliticalsubdivisionofanotherstateshallauthorizeanypersontocarryconcealed
9firearmsinto:
10 (1)Anypolice,sheriff,orhighwaypatrolofficeorstationwithouttheconsentofthe
11chieflawenforcementofficerinchargeofthatofficeorstation.Possessionofafirearmina
12vehicleonthepremisesoftheofficeorstationshallnotbeacriminaloffensesolongasthe
13firearmisnotremovedfromthevehicleorbrandishedwhilethevehicleisonthepremises;
14 (2)Withintwenty-fivefeetofanypollingplaceonanyelectionday.Possessionofa
15firearminavehicleonthepremisesofthepollingplaceshallnotbeacriminaloffenseso
16longasthefirearmisnotremovedfromthevehicleorbrandishedwhilethevehicleisonthe
17premises;

19jail.Possessionofafirearminavehicleonthepremisesofanyadult,juveniledetention,or
20correctionalinstitution,prisonorjailshallnotbeacriminaloffensesolongasthefirearmis
21notremovedfromthevehicleorbrandishedwhilethevehicleisonthepremises;
22 (4)Anycourthousesolelyoccupiedbythecircuit,appellateorsupremecourt,orany
23courtrooms,administrativeoffices,librariesorotherroomsofanysuchcourtwhetherornot
24suchcourtsolelyoccupiesthebuildinginquestion.Thissubdivisionshallalsoinclude,but
25notbelimitedto,anyjuvenile,family,drug,orothercourtoffices,anyroomorofficewherein
26anyofthecourtsorofficeslistedinthissubdivisionaretemporarilyconductinganybusiness
27withinthejurisdictionofsuchcourtsoroffices,andsuchotherlocationsinsuchmanneras
28maybespecifiedbysupremecourtrulepursuanttosubdivision(6)ofthissubsection.
29Nothinginthissubdivisionshallprecludethosepersonslistedinsubdivision(1)ofsubsection
302ofsection571.030whilewithintheirjurisdictionandonduty,thosepersonslistedin
31subdivisions(2),(4),and(10)ofsubsection2ofsection571.030,orsuchotherpersonswho
32serveinalawenforcementcapacityforacourtasmaybespecifiedbysupremecourtrule
33pursuanttosubdivision(6)ofthissubsectionfromcarryingaconcealedfirearmwithinanyof
34theareasdescribedinthissubdivision.Possessionofafirearminavehicleonthepremisesof
35anyoftheareaslistedinthissubdivisionshallnotbeacriminaloffensesolongasthefirearm
36isnotremovedfromthevehicleorbrandishedwhilethevehicleisonthepremises;
37 (5)Anymeetingofthegoverningbodyofaunitoflocalgovernment;oranymeeting
38ofthegeneralassemblyoracommitteeofthegeneralassembly,exceptthatnothinginthis
39subdivisionshallprecludeamemberofthebodyholdingavalidconcealedcarrypermitor
40endorsementfromcarryingaconcealedfirearmatameetingofthebodywhichheorsheisa
41member.Possessionofafirearminavehicleonthepremisesshallnotbeacriminaloffense
42solongasthefirearmisnotremovedfromthevehicleorbrandishedwhilethevehicleison
43thepremises.Nothinginthissubdivisionshallprecludeamemberofthegeneralassembly,a
44full-timeemployeeofthegeneralassemblyemployedunderSection17,ArticleIII,
45ConstitutionofMissouri,legislativeemployeesofthegeneralassemblyasdeterminedunder
46section21.155,orstatewideelectedofficialsandtheiremployees,holdingavalidconcealed
47carrypermitorendorsement,fromcarryingaconcealedfirearminthestatecapitolbuilding
48oratameetingwhetherofthefullbodyofahouseofthegeneralassemblyoracommittee
49thereof,thatisheldinthestatecapitolbuilding;
50 (6)Thegeneralassembly,supremecourt,countyormunicipalitymaybyrule,
51administrativeregulation,orordinanceprohibitorlimitthecarryingofconcealedfirearmsby
52permitorendorsementholdersinthatportionofabuildingowned,leasedorcontrolledby
53thatunitofgovernment.Anyportionofabuildinginwhichthecarryingofconcealed
54firearmsisprohibitedorlimitedshallbeclearlyidentifiedbysignspostedattheentranceto
HCSHB485	7 55therestrictedarea.Thestatute,ruleorordinanceshallexemptanybuildingusedforpublic
56housingbyprivatepersons,highwaysorrestareas,firingranges,andprivatedwellings
57owned,leased,orcontrolledbythatunitofgovernmentfromanyrestrictiononthecarrying
58orpossessionofafirearm.Thestatute,ruleorordinanceshallnotspecifyanycriminal
59penaltyforitsviolationbutmayspecifythatpersonsviolatingthestatute,ruleorordinance
60maybedeniedentrancetothebuilding,orderedtoleavethebuildingandifemployeesofthe
61unitofgovernment,besubjectedtodisciplinarymeasuresforviolationoftheprovisionsof
62thestatute,ruleorordinance.Theprovisionsofthissubdivisionshallnotapplytoanyother
63unitofgovernment;
64 (7)Anyestablishmentlicensedtodispenseintoxicatingliquorforconsumptiononthe
65premises,whichportionisprimarilydevotedtothatpurpose,withouttheconsentofthe
66ownerormanager.Theprovisionsofthissubdivisionshallnotapplytothelicenseeofsaid
67establishment.Theprovisionsofthissubdivisionshallnotapplytoanybonafiderestaurant
68opentothegeneralpublichavingdiningfacilitiesfornotlessthanfiftypersonsandthat
69receivesatleastfifty-onepercentofitsgrossannualincomefromthediningfacilitiesbythe
70saleoffood.Thissubdivisiondoesnotprohibitthepossessionofafirearminavehicleonthe
71premisesoftheestablishmentandshallnotbeacriminaloffensesolongasthefirearmisnot
72removedfromthevehicleorbrandishedwhilethevehicleisonthepremises.Nothinginthis
73subdivisionauthorizesanyindividualwhohasbeenissuedaconcealedcarrypermitor
74endorsementtopossessanyfirearmwhileintoxicated;
75 (8)Anyareaofanairporttowhichaccessiscontrolledbytheinspectionofpersons
76andproperty.Possessionofafirearminavehicleonthepremisesoftheairportshallnotbea
77criminaloffensesolongasthefirearmisnotremovedfromthevehicleorbrandishedwhile
78thevehicleisonthepremises;
79 (9)Anyplacewherethecarryingofafirearmisprohibitedbyfederallaw;
80 (10)Anyhighereducationinstitutionorelementaryorsecondaryschoolfacility
81withouttheconsentofthegoverningbodyofthehighereducationinstitutionoraschool
82officialorthedistrictschoolboard,unlessthepersonwiththeconcealedcarryendorsementor
83permitisateacheroradministratorofanelementaryorsecondaryschoolwhohasbeen
84designatedbyhisorherschooldistrictasaschoolprotectionofficerandiscarryingafirearm
85inaschoolwithinthatdistrict,inwhichcasenoconsentisrequired.Possessionofafirearm
86inavehicleonthepremisesofanyhighereducationinstitutionorelementaryorsecondary
87schoolfacilityshallnotbeacriminaloffensesolongasthefirearmisnotremovedfromthe
88vehicleorbrandishedwhilethevehicleisonthepremises;
89 (11)Anyportionofabuildingusedasachildcarefacilitywithouttheconsentofthe
90manager.Nothinginthissubdivisionshallpreventtheoperatorofachildcarefacilityina

92endorsement;
93 (12)Anyriverboatgamblingoperationaccessiblebythepublicwithouttheconsent
94oftheownerormanagerpursuanttorulespromulgatedbythegamingcommission.
95Possessionofafirearminavehicleonthepremisesofariverboatgamblingoperationshall
96notbeacriminaloffensesolongasthefirearmisnotremovedfromthevehicleorbrandished
97whilethevehicleisonthepremises;
98 (13)Anygatedareaofanamusementpark.Possessionofafirearminavehicleon
99thepremisesoftheamusementparkshallnotbeacriminaloffensesolongasthefirearmis
