SectionA.Chapter21,RSMo,isamendedbyaddingtheretoonenewsection,tobe
2knownassection21.1040,toreadasfollows:
21.1040.1.Eachmemberofthegeneralassemblyshallbeanexofficiomember
2ofallelectedorappointedboards,commissions,committees,councils,andother
3legislativeorregulatorybodiesofallpoliticalsubdivisionswithintheboundariesofsuch
4member'sdistrict,whetherinwholeorinpart.
5 2.Eachmemberofthegeneralassemblyshallreceiveallrightsandprivilegesof
6membershiponanyentitynamedinsubsection1ofthissection,exceptthatamember
7shallnotbeentitledtovoteonanymatterbeforetheentityandshallnotreceiveany
8additionalcompensationorreimbursementofexpensesrelatedtoanyserviceasanex
9officiomemberoftheentity.
10 3.Anydocumentsorcommunicationsgeneratedasaresultofserviceasanex
11officiomemberofanentityshallbeapublicrecordunderchapter610andsubjectto
12publicrecordsrequestsmadetotheofficeofthememberofthegeneralassembly.Such
13documentsorcommunicationsshallnotbeconsideredpublicrecordsoftheentity.
