| 12 | 12 | Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows: | |
| 13 | 13 | Section A. Chapter 67, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto 1 | |
| 14 | 14 | one new section, to be known as section 67.105, to read as 2 | |
| 15 | 15 | follows:3 | |
| 16 | 16 | 67.105. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the 1 | |
| 17 | 17 | contrary, all proposals submitted to the voters for approval 2 | |
| 18 | 18 | after August 28, 2024, for the purpose of levying a new tax, 3 | |
| 19 | 19 | license, or fee, or renewing or increasing the current levy 4 | |
| 20 | 20 | of an existing tax, license, or fee, shall be submitted by 5 | |
| 21 | 21 | the governing body of the political subdivision on a general 6 | |
