4949 37 6.Pregnantoffendersshallbetransportedinvehiclesequippedwithseatbelts.
5050 38 7.Thecountyorcityjailshall:
5151 39 (1)Ensurethatemployeesofthejailareprovidedwithtraining,whichmay
5252 40includeonlinetraining,ontheprovisionsofthissection;and
5353 41 (2)Informfemaleoffenders,inwritingandorally,ofanypoliciesandpractices
5454 42developedinaccordancewiththissectionuponadmissiontothejail,andpostthe
5555 43policiesandpracticesinlocationsinthejailwheresuchnoticesarecommonlyposted
5656 44andwillbeseenbyfemaleoffenders.
5757 221.523.1.ByJanuary1,2026,allcountyandcityjailsshalldevelopspecific
5858 2proceduresfortheintakeandcareofoffenderswhoarepregnant,whichshallinclude

6161 5 (2)Dietarysupplements,includingprenatalvitamins;
6262 6 (3)Timelyandregularnutritiousmeals,whichshallinclude,atminimum,
6363 7thirty-twoouncesofmilkoracalciumsupplementiflactoseintolerant,twocupsoffresh
6464 8fruit,andtwocupsoffreshvegetablesdaily;
6565 9 (4)Substanceabusetreatment;
